Happy New Year

With Christmas and New Year passing us by in the blink of a reindeer's eye we hope that you all had a very merry time and are currently sticking to your New Year's resolutions will the full vigour you started out with!

We have been very busy here since the party season finished planning the year ahead. This started with our Wedding Fair last week and saw Brides (and Grooms) to be visiting and viewing the hotel.

They were also able to meet local photographers, car hire and dressmakers to give them ideas for their special day. Our own tables were beautiful decorated by Vita who was also on hand to chat and present what we as a venue had to offer.

We still have dates available for 2016, so if you want Sandilands to be the backdrop for your big day get in touch with us at celebrate@grangelinks.com we have some great offers on Friday weddings as well as winter weddings.

For those who missed out on our first Northern Soul night, we have another on May 7th, with a Motown night coming up on February 20th, so come and dance the January blues away!

We already have the fizz on ice for Valentine's Day next month, so why not treat the one you love to a romantic meal for two in our restaurant, bookings are now be taken.

Christmas is coming to the Coast!

It's that time of year again to be jolly and we are well within the Christmas spirit here in sunny Sandilands

Our little elves have been busy putting up decorations and making the hotel all sparkly and full of festive cheer.

The Christmas craft fair started the ball rolling with some fantastic local crafts and Yuletide plants. It was a great turn out both with shoppers and stalls alike, the pulled pork baguettes and our homemade cakes made sure nobody went hungry as they browsed the wide array of Noel themed offerings.

Festive Fayre & Christmas Party Nights

We still have spaces available for festive lunches and dinners, in fact if you pop down for a festive meal for two, we will give you 10% off your next meal up until the end of January!

Don't forget our two Christmas party nights are coming up, these include finger buffet and plenty of dancing!

The first of these two themed nights is ‘Motown Mo’tinsel’ on Friday 11th December and the second is ‘Seasonal 70’s’ on Friday 18th December. These are guaranteed to be great fun and there are also prizes for our favourite funky threads! Priced at £15 per person.

Please contact reception for more information on any of our Christmas lunches, dinners or festive fun nights on 01507 441334.

Sandilands - the place to be this winter!

Now, one of the things we love about this time of year is snuggling up by a open fire when it gets dark outside, either with a warming glass of red wine or a frothy cappuccino. Our fire is always glowing, so why not pop down and see us in the afternoon or in the evenings.

We have a new chef onboard who's speciality is cooking steaks and they are already popular with locals and residents alike!

We also love the amazing early morning winter sunrises over the Sandilands beach huts, crisp, cold and stunning! It just goes to show that winter can be as equally beautiful as summer and the bonus is that the beach is quiet and peaceful which is a perfect for reflection and recharging.

New Year 2016
With 2016 just around the corner, we have a few upcoming events in the making.

The first being our 1920’s themed New Year's Eve party. What a way to toast in the New Year in elegant 20’s dress!

Wedding Fair - 10 January 2016

We also have a Wedding Fair taking place on Sunday January 10th from 10am. If 2016 is your special year then come along and see what we can offer you, equally if you’re a local business that specialises in anything wedding'esc and want a chance to show potential brides and grooms your product get in touch with Nadia at celebrate@grangelinks.com.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2016. We hope to see plenty of familiar faces as well as new ones over the holidays and in the New Year.

Happy Christmas!

Dear All - just a quick one to wish you all a very Happy Christmas from the Grange & Links.

We've had a super Christmas here from some great parties earlier in December through to a lovely family Christmas Day & Boxing Day in the hotel.

I'd like to thank our wonderful team for their energy, enthusiasm and good nature - I've been very proud of how you've helped customers, made their visits enjoyable and always kept smiling.

My wife Violetta deserves special mention for all her hard work in making Christmas so special, working so hard to decorate the hotel, look after guests (& our kids), and keep us all on our toes!

We've got a great crowd in for New Year for a hot buffet and some Ceilidh dancing, with some early parties in January - let's hope we kick off 2015 in the same way we're saying good bye to 2014.

Thanks to all our super customers, our suppliers and friends that have helped us achieve so much in taking the hotel on in July 2014. We've got much to look forward to and we can't wait to see you back in Sandilands for a nice walk on the beach, a round of golf, a game of tennis or just a beer!

I'd also like to wish Ann every happiness in 2015, it's a hard task to live up to your standards, we've got much to thank you for and I'm sure you'll be rooting for us going forward.

Have a Super New Year!

yours aye, Matthew
